"We were welcomed by a most polite and helpful staff and enjoyed the lovely lobby area of the hotel throughout out stay. The bartenders were friendly and made great drinks. We enjoyed the lobby pool table - what a great idea. Our room was clean, but small. It had a very comfortable bed and was cleaned well each day. The bathroom situation was one in which there was a small closet for the toilet and a small closet for the shower (no place to hang your towel), and the hot and cold water was not easy to figure out but we did, after a while. The sink did not have much of a counter for laying out shaving, dental products, skincare and makeup. The television did not offer a lot of options for English speakers on the news of the day, and there were no newspapers anywhere in the proximity of the hotel. The elevator had issues whereby it would sometimes not go all the way up to our floor and we would have to take the steps. The staff showed concern and felt very bad for this, and worked on it. We did not include the breakfast with our room because of the price - but we did go once. It was pricy, but a very nice buffet with good, healthy options. Again, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the lobby area was excellent for a drink and a game of pool."
