"Enjoyed my stay at the lodge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed on a weekday after a long drive and there are currently no meal options during the week. It would be nice to have had food options on property besides the market across the street."

"This place was horrible. Like I was stuck in a time warp. Only one towel and a bath mat for two guests. Had to go to the front desk to get more. No facecloths. The phone in the room looked like a kids' toy, there was a windup alarm clock. The walls were dirty and the bathroom was tiny/cramped and had lots of staining in the tub and shower head. I used the ironing board and fully extended it was as tall as the top of my thigh and I have short legs. Felt like it was made for a midget. The...

"Property is clean and reasonably up to date. Location is rural, out of town but close by, and therefore quiet and peaceful. It is attached to a Casino, awesome if you like that, but adequately separated if you don’t. A bar and limited restaurant are in the hotel area, with additional bar and small food court in the casino. I’ve been staying here for years due to location and quiet."

"This is by far the best way to stay while traveling with a large family. The suites with three beds and a separate room is the only way to go. Everything was clean, they had a pool for the kids, and a great breakfast in the morning. I would definitely use them again. "

"The inn keeper was very nice and even upgraded our room free of charge to the corner room with a view of the town. The building is a beautifully upkept, literally Victorian style inn on the main strip of Ferndale; only 15 minutes from downtown Eureka. The dining room and bar have a homely feel with the large fireplace and friendly staff. Each room at the inn is unique in its own right and theme. I was surprised at how tall the ceilings are because usually older buildings have lower ceilings, but...

"You get what you expect from a motel. Old furniture, spotty carpet floors, a bit smelly, and sometimes absent front desk. But not bad for the price."

"Everything was good and staff very helpful. Breakfast was incredible. Reminded us of going to the haunted mansion at Disneyland. The decor, music ,etc. Had a problem with tv and they came and fixed it immediately! The breakfast was a gourmet one. Walking distance to town."
