"The breakfast was well below the level of inexpensive local hotels. Breakfast staff was slow paced and unmotivated. We expected more on this part. TV in room wouldn't turn on. The place was beautiful and we loved the history. Met nice people. "

"Good:Parking was fine, room was clean, staff was fine, AC worked, water pressure was good and hot. Bad: Some of the flooring in the room was damaged. The door from the outside entrance to the room is supposed to be locked and you need to use a key to get it, but it was just unlocked, so that didn't seem safe. "Charles Bass is always a great place to stay. It's so tranquil and inviting. The place was clean and the entire home is beautiful. "

"Parking ok if you got there early. Hotel is very old and it looked like it. Two trucks sitting in parking lot partially disassembled. Pooled filled with dirt. I only met two staff members. One didnt speaked good English. I will say I slept decent and warm. I stayed for the price but even 72 dollars is too much. No breakfast of any type. Just don't. "

"Good hotel for the price. I liked the refrigerator with the freezer. I was able to refreeze my ice blocks for my cooler. very spacious. good parking, close to the room I was in. good guest services."
