The room was filthy. I actually went to the Food Lion and bought cleaning supplies for the bathroom. The towels were stained. I did take the towels to the front desk and got different ones. The Sheets were dirty and I did take the sheets down and got new ones the microwave doesn’t look like it was cleaned ever the floors were filthy around the toilet on the floor was filthy. There was a lot of road traffic and somebody at midnight threw a beer bottle against one of the doors down from my room, actually clean the rooms, buy new linens, and towels, the exterior, and the that

Don't go to this motel during the fourth weekend of August. First, there is a yearly NASCAR-type weekend in the region that attracts too many travelers. Second, it's also on a major truck route heading in and out of North Carolina, so that adds to the increase in use of the rooms by folks who don't take care of things. The motel can't keep up with the bookings. Third, the staff does a terrible job of maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms, and they don't seem to care. Our room had dirty sheets on the bed all the way down to the mattress cover. They were soiled, and the mattress had what appeared to be human waste stains. The floors were dirty, the microwave had food residue in it, the fridge had a terrible odor, and the bathroom was so old that the coating on the tub was worn. There was mold and mildew on the grout. We went to Walmart and spent over $150 on pillows and covers, decent sheets, and cleaning supplies, just to make it through the 3days we were there! The only thing that was good about the rooms was that the AC worked great in our room, and the shower had really hot water. We were there for our family reunion that occurs every two years, and we decided to travel from Maryland at the last minute. Next time we will book somewhere else better.
