"The hotel staff (Erica especially!) were so kind and thoughtful. It was our honeymoon and they wrote us a welcome note along with fruit and macarons. The hotel is in a great location and is very clean and modern. I would recommend getting a room on one of the upper floors for a great view of the city. "

"One of the best hotels in our itinerary. The staff was always friendly and available. The room was well designed and comfortable (the bed was an A+). The balcony over looked a luscious green space which made it hard to believe that you were in the middle of a city. The local self serve laundromat 2 doors away was genius for us and an under advertised benefit of the hotel (we travel light so washing facilities are important). The pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and the gym was compact yet useful. Well done!"

"We stayed in the suite on the main floor away from the main hotel which has tall windows and a magnificent view onto the river/Luis bridge, both day and night; the location is unique to staying on Duoro river; its a lively and yet tranquil combination; the roof top bar is recommended; overall great experience!"
