The Air Conditioning unit was broken and the room was registering at 74*. Front desk staff said you could move to another room. We were there for a wedding and had a ceremony and cocktail hour when they asked us to move. It made the stay less desirable.

Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel
Clean room well kept . Cold upon arrival but heat worked great. Beautiful view of the ocean even while laying in bed. No elevator doesnt bother me but just know that if you're planning on staying on the 3rd floor. Just stayed one night so not much more to include. Definitely would stay again.

Our first room. The heat was broke. They moved us to another room. The sheets and pillowcases are very worn. They feel very scratchy. The rooms were clean but carpet needs shampooing

Perfect location near stores and friendly, welcoming staff at check-in. If you book with the understanding that this is a basic motel for a good price at the Jersey shore, then you will be happy.
