Ground floor unit with king-sized bed and powered curtain and backout curtain. Important as whole wall is a window looking over grass and highway at ocean. Great restaurant on site.

Very clean suite. We enjoyed our family weekend stay at Oceanside. Friendliest and helpful front desk. The ocean front view from the balcony is unbeatable. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Muizz at the front desk was very nice and extremely accommodating to our early check-in request. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay was prefect. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a beautiful location and hospitable staff!

Directly across from the water. Lots of parking. Front desk staff till midnight. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. The room was clean. Great view from the balcony. I love the walk in shower. Lots of plug ins with usb.

Fantastic service from Moiz after a long day on the road and last minute check in. Upgraded room, great price, beautiful sunset view! Room: nice bathroom, comfy bed, and tasteful modern room styling.

The property was great. The only thing I didn’t like was that the patio doors were very dirty and had lots of condensation that was built up between the doors. Obviously the seals were broken and they needed to be replaced which took away from the ocean view. Also, the air conditioning didn’t really work. Other than that it wasn’t too bad. The trim was nice. Loved the separate bedroom. Beds were comfortable.

I’ve stayed at this hotel with my family a few times and definitely a five star, it’s clean, close to the beach, restaurant and the staff is super kind, welcoming and helpful. We will be back!

$250 room deposit which is just not feasible as an owner operated small business. I asked why it’s so high and they told me it was because someone tampered with sprinkler. That’s the risk you take owning a hotel having random people stay there. You can’t penalize the other guests. You would think they would want to attract the working class but they are doing just the opposite.

Our first time staying at the Oceanside Coast hotel in Sechelt. You can’t beat the location right on the beach. Although there is lots of traffic in front of the hotel after a while you don’t notice it. Front desk staff was wonderful. In the lobby they have a specialty coffee machine which is a bonus. Suites are nicely renovated and roll down blinds are great. The only thing we noticed that the balcony doors are old and heavy. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend the hotel.

Nice place, not as clean but okay for a weekend. Lovely location Davis bay is beautiful. Attached to Joes on the beach restaurant which is good but crazy expensive

We were delighted to be staying near the iconic pier @ Davis Bay! Stunning view from our ground level, one bedroom suite. Staff helpful when we couldn’t get the blind down with the remote/power button. They were busy but they came by to fix. Beds were so comfy! Obvious upgrades! Delightful shower head and instant hot water. Great location for “Joes” a must eatery and little shop carrying the tasty Davis Bay Tea. Also it was quiet despite being on the main hwy. we really loved our stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. It looked exactly like the pictures but the view was honestly way better in person. The only comment we could make was the mattress was quite loud so any time we moved, we would wake up from the sound. Seemed like there was a plastic covering that wasn’t taken off. Otherwise everything was great and we would stay again.

Oceanside was a great convenient stop right beside the highway. The full glass window to the ocean with the wonderful patio was a great feature. Comfortable bed and modern classy bathroom were also great features. The attached restaurant, Joe’s On The Beach, was significant better than typical hotel restaurants. All in all, this was a great stopover hotel.

It’s an older property but clean and well maintained. The staff was nice. We were put in the suite above the restaurant so it was very noisy due to that but the suite itself was spacious and had a beautiful enclosed balcony with a view of the ocean. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel has been updated. Room is clean and has all the things you need. Restaurant next door is Joe’s and dinner was delicious! The beach is a few steps away. It is rocky and slippery. But great for exploring for sea glass!

Had a very nice stay, however there was a small raised lip between the carpet and the tile. This was a hazard at night. My wife tripped and fell.

This hotel is just across the street from a pier out into the bay. long beach for walking along. although it was too cold to walk along we did visit in the car and watch seals fishing along the surf. we were just down the rd from the family we were here to visit. we were very happy with our stay on the sunshine coast.

Enjoyed our stay at Oceanside. The rooms had everything we needed with nice view of ocean. Bit of street noise during the day because it’s on main road but very quiet at night. Comfy beds. We really enjoyed the restaurant that is connected to hotel (Joe’s) and it is next to a great cafe/coffee shop called Gourmet Girl. Perfect location on lower coast. Our room was warm and clean. Note that there’s no bath tub but a nice shower with great shower pressure. Friendly staff!
