But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! This place has it all! View from front porch is amazing to wake to and enjoy firepit in the evening. Extremely clean and all the emenities you could need! 15 minute walk to uptown shopping and restaurants. Be sure to rent e bikes and this is the best way to see all of the area!
