There was no check in at the lodge, we had to drive to the casino and check in and drive back to the lodge. No fridge or microwave without an additional charge. Room was pretty generic.

I drove around a few times to find a check-in desk inside the casino because the front desk was closed. The dryer wasn’t old; it looked like it was about 20 years old. There was no elevator to the second floor, and I had four bags to carry upstairs.

If you were going to the casino and you have a night of gambling and drinking, I give it five stars. And that is the only way that you can stay at the lodge after the first night there I regret it ever booking it you had to go from the lodge to the main casino up on the top of the mountain first off to get checked in then back down to the lodge. The beds were horrible. It made it impossible to sleep on unless you were completely intoxicated after going out for a day I expected to have at least the room cleaned up and fresh towels, two rooms to seven people in our party and they couldn’t even replace the towels getting a hold of the front desk by their phone was impossible because it didn’t work so after having to make a long distance call with no service I finally got towels if you want to drink the night away and gamble and then pass out in a super on the bed, you’re fine other than that go somewhere else

The lodge @cliff castle is separate from the hotel @ cliff castle. You must check in @ the hotel then drive down to the lodge. Place was clean, budget friendly, bare necessities spot to stay for the night. Hot water worked. No microwave, no fridge, breakfast not included. It was late, I was driving long distance & just passing through. So this was good for my needs. I would stay here again if need be. I saw a pool @ the hotel but not sure if it’s open to lodge guests. (Most likely not)

The room was just fine, except outlets in all the wrong places. Unlikely to stay here overnight again because casino is obviously blocking several websites, eg Draft Kings. They think people with phone Sportsbook apps are going to bet there instead? Not.

Check in was a pain. You had to go to the casino, park in the lot, go through the casino floor to just check in. Then go back to your car, drive to the hotel room down the hill. Hotel room had big gaps under the door, and desert mean snakes. Place was a bit out dated. Smelly a bit.

The room was just okay. Beds were very uncomfortable, and creaked with every movement. There were barely any outlets in the room, we had to unplug the phone and lamps just to have 4 outlets to charge our cellphones overnight. I wouldn't stay here again, and was glad to only stay one night.

Property was very clean and the room was clean for the most part! We had a suite so it had a pullout couch and it was dirty but other then that and the ice machine not working our stay was great!👍

The Lodge is NOT at Cliff Castle Casino—something they don’t make clear. We waited nearly an hour to check in, only to find out our room was in a separate building. When I asked where it was, the staff just said “800 feet away” and pointed, clearly annoyed. No map, no directions, no explanation that the lobby there was closed. When we found The Lodge, the door was locked with a sign saying closed, and there were no instructions on how to access the second floor rooms. Confusing, frustrating, and poorly managed. Basic communication would have made all the difference.

King suite was great size, but remotes didn’t work for TV, and toilet paper was sooo far away from the toilet, child would not be able to reach. There were signs for ice machine but they were not functioning. The shuttle was a great feature, and easy to use. Rooms just need a little updating!

Make sure you realize this is a motel detached from the Casino with no access to the casino amenities. Since the listing photos do not well indicate this fact, we didn't know and were disappointed when we arrived. Felt like a bait n' switch on Expedia.

Room was outdated and needed a lot of repairs. The walls are paper thin. No ice machines in working order. The food options at the casino are terrible with the most of the staff being rude Literally took over 45 mins to cook a blt sandwich and a Cesar salad.

The room was clean with basic requirements. There is very little sound proofing so we could hear voices from other rooms. You have to go up the hill to the casino when registering. The price was very reasonable.
