"De lodge ligt in een prachtige omgeving. De familiekamer was heel groot. De kinderen hadden een aparte slaapkamer. Er stond zelfs een kleine hoekbank in. Het personeel was echt heel klantvriendelijk! Ze gaven ons een tip hoe we op een andere manier (niet door de Gotthart tunnel) naar Italië konden rijden. De bediening in het restaurant was ook heel aardig. Toen we vertrokken kwam er iemand achter ons aan naar buiten. Hij had net de webcam bekeken en vertelde ons ook dat we de andere route...
"This was everything I want in an alpine hotel. I felt so well looked after. Beautiful view from the balcony, peaceful and comfortable. Clean and cosy. The lovely people running this hotel were warm and helpful gave me just the boost I needed to get up the Lukmanier pass today. Would definitely recommend. "
"Lovely hotel. We were on the top floor and there's no lift, but there was a lovely house keeper who carried my massive suitcase up and back down the stairs for me. I sprained my ankle whilst staying there and he even offered to take my suitcase to the train station with me! Wish I'd got his name. Room was lush, breakfast was fairly basic, but hit the spot."
"Grundsätzlich sehr einfaches Hotel bzgl. Einrichtung und Komfort. Okay für eine Nacht auf der Durchfahrt, aber mehr nicht. Hätte es nicht die strategische Lage vor dem Gotthard-Tunnel und den üblichen Schweiz-Preisaufschlag würde es wohl anderswo eher die Hälfte kosten.
Das Frühstück war gut und erfreulicherweise hört man die Autobahn bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht. Der Ort um das Hotel ist absolut tot."

The photos of the property are absolutely misleading, there is absolutely no view from inside. The surrounding area is nice, just not from right at the house.
The beds were absolutely horrible.
And to add insult to the injury the host, located directly above the unit we stayed in, walked around and had conversations until after midnight. We could hear every word and it felt as if someone would fall thru...
