"I had a very disappointing experience at Colonial Inn. First, I was placed in a smoking room—something I didn’t even realize still existed. The smell was overwhelming and completely unacceptable. It was so bad that we had to keep the windows open the entire time and even went out to buy a candle just to make the room somewhat bearable. When I asked to switch rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked, so we were stuck dealing with it. To make matters worse, they charged a $100 security...

"Everything was just perfect! The check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Anytime I passed through the lobby there was someone visible and ready to help. The breakfast was great. There were many options, the food was tasty and the breakfast room was clean and well stocked. Even with a few big trucks parked in the lot with drivers staying overnight there was still plenty of parking and the lot is well lit. The pool...

We just opened entrance door, and left even not getting into the room itself. No light inside. Smells very strange. We had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. There's no shower, there's no bureau, no place to put your clothes. "I have an understanding that you get what you pay for but as hotels/motels goes this one was very disappointing. The only thing I can say the front desk staff was nice. The motel smelled bad, even for a smoking/non smoking motel. When we came in the room the floor was wet. Which we would make us happy thinking it was just mopped BUT the floors of the whole entire room ended up being sticky afterwards. Not very family friendly.
