When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my reservation had not been made and that I would have to pay again. The front desk employee spent most of the time on a WhatsApp video call and did not give me the attention I deserved as a guest. It was already 9:00 p.m., and they still could not locate my reservation.
The way the situation was handled was very unpleasant, especially being asked to pay again for something I had already paid for. I even had to show proof of payment from my bank, which I found completely inappropriate.
The lack of organization and the unprofessional treatment made my experience very disappointing and far from what I expected. If you do not properly use or manage reservations made through Expedia, then you should not offer that service. Travelers should not have to go through such an unpleasant and stressful situation when all they want after a long day is to check in and rest.
