Right across the street from St John Basilica. Walking distance to the train and bus stations and restaurants. Friendly and helpful owners. Great Turkish breakfast and good coffee.
Kallinos is a fantastic choice for your stay in Selçuk. Everybody was incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is in the perfect location with an amazing view. I will be choosing this hotel again if I return to Selçuk. Highly recommend.
Great location for visiting Ephesus! Cute hotel with a lovely breakfast and good pizzas for dinner. The only complaint was our room was right under the restaurant which was loud and when it was windy or rainy it was very loud and the door would shake which did not let us sleep much. (I think there was a wind/rain storm one of the nights we couldn't sleep, was very loud like things on the roof were falling and rolling around)
Pleasant surprise on location - right across from St John Basillica! Easy and short walk to city center. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was across from hotel. They have two great cafes for slow afternoons. My only regret was not picking a room with a balcony.
We had an amazing time in Ephesus and this hotel was a huge part of that. The hotel is located across from St John’s Basilica, a short walk from the Archaeological museum, and a short drive from the ruins. Restaurants and coffee shops surround the area, the downtown area with the market on Saturday was just 3 blocks away. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming, we felt a part of an extended family more than guests in a hotel. A rare find in today’s world, this hotel will be my recommendation for anyone coming to Ephesus.
The room was clean & the staff bend over backwards to make sure we were happy. The view from terrace where we had breakfast & dinner is 360 degree view of Selcuk. Dining across the basilica was priceless. Only one thing I would change is the bed. It was hard and not easy to sleep on it. The location is walking distance from all the important places & bus station.
Amazing service and hospitality by all the hotel staff and manager. The manager Michael went above and beyond to help me find my way in the area as well as assisting with arranging very last minute airport transfer with no extra cost. The breakfast each day was extensive and very fresh. Although the area is very quiet, I never felt unsafe even at night. The rooms are very aesthetic and clean. You can tell they have amazing taste. The views out of the hotel room is also unmatchable and looks out to the St. John Basilica. A lot of the major sites are close by. Overall, this hotel was the perfect place for me. Especially as a solo female traveller!
We stayed here one night the first week of May -- and wished we could have stayed another! It's a beautiful, contemporary hotel -- our room had a balcony overlooking St. John's Basilica -- it was really pretty incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable. The first floor is a coffee shop, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. We drove over to the Ephesus site, which is quite close, in the late afternoon, and then ate dinner back in Selcuk, which is a lovely town. We strolled over to the Basilica in the morning, and hated to leave. The street our room faced was pretty busy with buses and cars when we arrived, and I worried it might be noisy, but it quieted down in the evening, and was quite quiet at night. This is a really nice hotel.
This is a beautiful little hotel. The upper deck is a stunning place to eat in the evening and in the morning for breakfast. The staff are friendly and kind.
Our only complaint is that there is a charge for "extra guest" of $71.00 CAD (1785TRY). I sent a message before our arrival enquiring about this price and got no reply. I forgot about it during out trip and was shocked when I went to pay. At that point I was told it was a service fee on top of a big tax fee. I can't find the price in cad of my original booking to compare.
Overall - expensive, but a great place to stay if going to Ephesus.
Highly recommend this hotel. Staff and service were excellent. If you visit this place don’t miss the AMAZING 88 year old sourdough pizza on the rooftop.
