You can feel that positive energy in every interaction. The heart of our experience wäre Nuril and Dodri. They took super care of us from the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at home. Our highlights were the lobster catching and cooking class with Catur as well as the massages from Sari were out of this world, we can only recommend the traditional massage. If you want a stay that combines luxury with a meaningful soul and a connection to the local culture, this is it. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!"

"Wonderful place to stay. Pool overlooks the rice fields and you feel very secluded. Iyan on the front desk is great. He gives you his WhatsApp and you order food and drink through him. He was very welcoming when we arrived and always available to answer questions. Sanja was great with our son. Always smiling and happy. "

"Wow. This place was fantastic. We stayed unfortunately for one night only, but we really enjoyed the tranquility and the great energy surrounding Les Rizieres. The terrace immersed in the rice fields is simply spectacular. The room was cozy and provided with all amenities. The breakfast was really good - especially the papaya ginger jam made by the owner which I will never forget. The hotel features two very sweet and friendly dogs and one cute little cat too. The staff helped us also with transport to Bangsal harbor to catch the boat to Gili for a very fair price. Next time we'll definitely stay more. Totally recommended! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Lobster Bay. Andrew and the team were incredible hosts and made us feel so very welcome. The views were breathtaking and the villas are beautifully designed and peaceful. The food and drink options were plentiful and delicious. Passion fruit picked fresh from the veranda for my cocktail watching the sunset was a highlight! The staff were so attentive to all our needs and looked after us and our children so well. The treatments at the spa were outstanding. There is a beach down the hill which is beautifully secluded and we had a brilliant day out snorkelling and visiting the pink beaches in the area. The whole place has such a warm and friendly atmosphere and I can’t recommend a stay here enough. Home from home! Thank you Lobster bay team for a truly memorable stay!"

"This a lovely hotel on the beach.. very nice garden and great facilities.. i was able to take a bike.. they organized a gili tour and my transport. My only gripe is that the walls are paper thin and i had to deal with noisy neighbors "

"Breathtaking Location, Warm Staff – But Needs Improvement in Comfort and Value Jiva Baluam is set in a truly stunning location nestled in a secluded bay with a private beach that feels like your own paradise. The natural beauty is overwhelming, and the bungalows are located right on the sand. It’s a place where you can fully disconnect and enjoy nature. However, the resort is very remote – there are no alternative dining options within 30 minutes, so you’re fully dependent on the in-house restaurant. Unfortunately, the food quality doesn’t justify the high prices. The Indonesian breakfast (like Nasi Goreng) was okay, but the Western breakfast was quite disappointing in both taste and presentation. The resort has been around for over ten years and is beginning to show signs of age. Some renovations would definitely enhance the guest experience. The bungalows are charming, but not well-equipped: there’s no fridge, which is a real downside given the isolation, especially since cold drinks from the restaurant are very expensive. Also, there’s no kettle – as an early riser, I found it frustrating that I couldn’t have tea or coffee until the restaurant opened at 8 a.m. On the bright side, the staff are wonderfully kind and helpful, and the WiFi is excellent surprisingly strong for such a remote location. In summary, Jeeva Baluam offers a magical natural setting and warm hospitality, but it would benefit greatly from thoughtful upgrades and a more guest-friendly infrastruct,"
