"The place was clean and everything was good, but nobody told us that the water smelled so bad. We had to go buy bottled water in Iceland, even just to brush our teeth. We only stayed for one night, and we couldn’t shower because the smell of the water was so strong. It would have been helpful to know about this beforehand."

"Great apartment suite, exactly as advertised. However I would issue a couple of warnings for future travelers. 1. Room is extremely loud as it is directly facing the outside downtown street. I was woken up several times through the night to loud yelling, singing etc. 2. We were charged $75 per person to use the pullout sofa, even though the room was listed for 4 people. We owed $150 on top of what we already paid because there was still a charge "per person" since we exceeded 2 people for a 4...

"We had the Two-Bedroom Apartment - Bergstadastraeti Twelve unit. The location of the apartment was excellent, right in the downtown area. There is a grocery store around the corner. The unit itself was very clean and a good size though I will say the description of Bedroom Two of 'One Queen Bed and One Twin Bed' is misleading - our plan was to use this bedroom for Three (Two adults and One child) so the living area was not a sleeping area. "This was in a very central location, loved it for that. Also enjoyed that there was a fridge and a microwave. It got pretty hot in the room when it was sunny. The shower and pillows were not very clean and the drainwas exceptionally slow. We were able to use the parking which was great!"

"I loved this place. It was in the perfect neighborhood. Much bigger than I even expected. I’m used to small spaces in Europe. Plenty of room to walk around we had three adults two children. It is loud at night. There’s a bus stop out front and you can hear the buses and people talking loudly but that did not bother us if you like quiet not the place for you, but we thought it was perfect. I love being able to walk around and go to restaurants and shops. It did get a little warm in the apartment....
