Enjoyed my stay here, only place I found that had more than 2 beds not including a fold out couch - cleanliness could have been much better, hair still left in the shower, hair and dust in the drawers in the closet and hair left on the toilet, and the bed sheets smelt a bit funky. Basically cleaned again once we checked in. In a great area not far from rainbow street (was able to walk to and ride a scooter both to and from the apartment)
Full kitchen; two full bathrooms (only one has a shower, the other has a bathtub - didn’t use the bathtub but shower doesn’t have a closing door or curtain so water does flow out on the floor towards the toilet and sink, also no shelves to put toiletries like soap and shampoo/conditioner so be mindful of that); a washer (washers aren’t as big as the ones in the US - probably the same size as the smallest washer at a laundromat) and a dryer (only extra dry cupboard works to fully dry your clothes but it’s about 2-4 hours depending on how wet the clothes are so make sure you give yourself enough time depending on how long you’re staying).
Parking was somewhat difficult bc of how big the garage was so we kept getting lost but if you enter off of Þórunnartún stay right at the beginning of the lot and the staircase is right there to enter. The apartments are in building 11 AND 9 so keep an eye out for the email they send you, it will be specified there.
