"The place was clean and everything was good, but nobody told us that the water smelled so bad. We had to go buy bottled water in Iceland, even just to brush our teeth. We only stayed for one night, and we couldn’t shower because the smell of the water was so strong. It would have been helpful to know about this beforehand."

"The fridge was very small like a mini bar fridge and no freezer section to it so for a family of 4 it was not sufficient and we could not buy any frozen food. Very inconvenient. Not enough items of everyday use in the kitchen such as foil,plastic wrap or food storage mor serving dishes."

"I loved this place. It was in the perfect neighborhood. Much bigger than I even expected. I’m used to small spaces in Europe. Plenty of room to walk around we had three adults two children. It is loud at night. There’s a bus stop out front and you can hear the buses and people talking loudly but that did not bother us if you like quiet not the place for you, but we thought it was perfect. I love being able to walk around and go to restaurants and shops. It did get a little warm in the apartment....

"For the price in Reykjavík, the place was decent. We just didn’t like the sulphur smell in the apartment. Our place was on top of Icewear mart store so it was noisy in the morning with tourists and night goers. However, the place is in close walking distance to most places want to visit. Besides the smell in the apartment, I would recommend because of the price and fast communication from the host. They respond promptly with any questions you may have. Also, two of our hair dryers didn’t work so...

"The owner emailed us the codes before we arrived which was nice. We were lucky as we had Apartment 1 which we only had a few steps down. Apartment is on a busy street so the crowds can be noisy. Good location. Thought it was over priced though. But then again most things seem to be expensive in Iceland! Also we took the flybus from airport. You can get your fly bus ticket at the airport. The walk from the stop to airport was less than 5 minutes"

"Stayed eight nights at Saga Studios and used it as our Reykjavik base the whole trip. While in town I was able walk to all the shops. Good place to stay if your keeping within the city."
