This was a truly awesome place to stay. Everything was cozy and we had access to?fairly easy street parking and laundry. We had all the dishes we needed to make meals at home to save money. There are heaters all over the apartment to stay warm. The communication was great via Whats App. There was also a great coffee shop right next door and a grocery store (Bonus) within walking distance. I think staying here saved us lots of money because of all the essential cooking supplies. Would 100% recommend!

Beautiful 4th level apartment (with lift). Immaculate with nice balcony. Easy communication for check in and check out. Would love to return and stay again.

Nice place to stay, BUT needs communication.

Getting into the apartment was difficult. Two key pads and couldn’t figure out which to use. We are not the only ones who had trouble. The place is perfect but the directions are lacking. They should tell you which pad to use and HOW to use the entrance to the room. In addition, have a “this is how things work” and such booklet in the apartment because not everyone is European and knows how to use everything. Plus, the online checkout link did not work. Very frustrating. It got worked out through communication but it was very frustrating. The place as beautiful and everything nicely decorated.

The suspicious one bedroom apartment with an accident of a bed for two more people. The apartment was well provisioned and very easy to access. There was sufficient street parking available for us. We were there on a weekend and had to only pay for parking for a few hours. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we would love to come back here again.

Pros: 1) Very safe and secure: building and apartment each require separate entry codes, 2) Super spacious layout, comfortable, and well-furnished (cozy beds, blackout curtains, well-equipped kitchen), 3) Smart TV with access to my streaming access, 4) Good location, right near Laugavegur for restaurants and souvenir shopping and a coffee shop literally next door, 5) Free washer and dryer in the building Cons: 1) Shower drain was clogged when we arrived, causing water to pool on the bathroom floor (mostly resolved by maintenance by Day 3), and 2) Parking availability was inconsistent—sometimes easy, sometimes tricky. Overall, this was our most comfortable stay in Iceland, hands down. Highly recommend!

I could not use the induction stove and sent a video explaining the problem but they replied as if they had never seen the video, I spent money on food I could not cook, the shower was another big problem.

Fantastic option for close proximity to downtown Reykjavik. Literally just a few minutes walk to the main shopping / dining street. The apartment was spacious, easy to park close to and very well managed. Getting extra clean towels was super easy, thanks to the very personable cleaning staff who seemed to be based on site.

A stunning way to begin or end a trip in Iceland. Where you can explore the local offering and cook for yourself. After some serious rearranging, B2 Apartments by Heimaleiga seemed like the perfect place to settle for a few nights; it was advertised as a home away from home, and it didn’t disappoint. We were able to do laundry, have home cooked meals, snuggled on the couch and watched movies. It was the perfect rest after being on the road for over a week. We loved this apartment; it was new when we stayed, but the finishes and furniture were carefully curated with design in mind. The apartment had blackout curtains, heating in every corner of the room and a very well-equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful time here in Reykjavik. With safe on-road parking, we could leave the car and walk into the town whenever we wanted to explore. If you want something more comfortable than a room in a hotel, this is a great option.

Great apartment, convenient location just out of the high street areas but a short walk to them. Large rooms, very cramped shower but good bathroom overall. Nice amenities and furniture. Parking available, slightly limited spaces but never had to park anywhere but the street in front of the building which is ideal.

The property is very nicely decorated and spacious. Location…really close to the action but away from things so you sleep perfectly well. 4 of us were k. Good shape during our stay here and we have zero complaints. Suggest a mop/broom in the suite, especially for the shower area as it’s impossible to not soak the floor with the bathroom layout. But again, not a complaint. Great place—we’d stay again!

The building was withing easy walking distance to a variety of dining establishments. cafes, and a supermarket, even in less than ideal weather conditions. Toss in free on street parking and it's an excellent choice.
