A truly world class hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge staff in particular went above and beyond normal expectations. The property is very well situated to explore the many must see towns in Puglia. Would advise to rent a car

Wonderful stay
Breakfast was incredible and plentiful. Fresh fruit and vegetables with Salento products. Room was spacious but a bit outdated. However that is the style of the hotel. We could not use the pool due to bad weather but the pool area seemed nice.

What are some of the general tips for travellers to Salento Peninsula during the COVID-19 outbreak?
If it's your first time travelling during the COVID-19 outbreak, you'll notice a few more rules and restrictions in place. Take note of these tips and make your getaway to Salento Peninsula a smooth one:
  • Before you book a flight, see if any travel bans or restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Get up-to-date information by checking government and airport websites.
  • When you pass through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Travellers who refuse to wear a face mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the terminal.
  • Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it directly on the scanner yourself. Once that's done, hold it up for inspection.
  • TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will need to be removed from your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
  • Remove items from your pocket, like your wallet, phone and small change, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
  • If you're taking food on the plane, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
