The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They helped us with a dinner reservation on the day of arrival after a long drive. Great views of the harbor from the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Nice, centrally located guesthouse with an excellent shared kitchen. The rooms were a reasonable size, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had, which other guests arriving at the same time also experienced, was gaining access to the property and our room. Access is managed through a website using a code sent by email. Everyone seemed to have trouble getting it to work on arrival — there were three other parties arriving at the same time as us, and we all struggled with it. I...

"Gleich vorweg, die Unterkunft mit den künstlerisch gestalteten Zimmern, die viel über die Historie des Ortes erzählen, ist eine klare Empfehlung! Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit sehr aufmerksamem Personal. Check In abends, wie in Island häufig üblich, ohne Rezeption und ohne Personal, aber problemlos. Achtung: Es gibt keine voll ausgestattete Küche! Lediglich Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher vorhanden!"

"The room was very comfortable & clean. The description of the property says there is a bar/lounge. There is no bar/lounge on site, which was disappointing after traveling. I was expecting to grab some food when we arrived. There is a restaurant close by, but only open for breakfast and a few hours for dinner. There were only a few restaurants in the area and some food trucks. The staff was very helpful."

"We did not stay here and forfeited our money. This is purely a backpacker style accomodation. I did look in the room which was very very small and very basic. The toilet was in another place and the shower in another different place. Would only be suitable for a solo backpacker. Definitely not for families or couples. We drove another 3 hours to accomodation in Reykjavík."
