"Das Hotel liegt ganz im Westen der Insel und scheint gut besucht zu sein. Die Aussicht auf das Meer (wenn man das Zimmer so gebcuht hat) ist fantastisch. Auch aus dem Restaurant hat man diesen tollen Blick. Die Umgebung lädt zu vielen schönen Ausflügen ein. Sowohl mit dem Auto als auch zu Fuss. Das Personal ist im großen und ganzen nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war typisch für isländische Hotels. Das Restaurant fanden wir für die gebotene Lewistung etwas überteuert. "We stayed in many hotels along the circle but Vest Mar was the best of all ! My family was very impressed with the location and nicely done room arrangements with dining table. The kitchen had all necessary plates and dishes. We all agreed if we re-visit Iceland Vest Mar will be the only hotel we need to book for the duration of stay."

"Arrived here after exploring the peninsula for the day. Pretty spot up high. Nice simple room and comfortable beds. Good shower and very nice breakfast. We ate at skippers. Delicious burgers. From here we headed south toward thingvellir national park the next day."

"Es war ein kleines Zimmer mit Blick auf die Straße. Sehr kleines ruhiges Dorf, also wenig Verkehr. Die Matratze war etwas weich, ansonsten war es ganz gut. Man hat den Aufzug und die anderen Zimmertüren jedoch immer gehört, was ziemlich störend nach einiger Zeit wurde. Das Frühstück war lecker, jedoch begrenzt auf eine Wurst, einen Käse, etwas Marmelade, Brötchen und Gemüse."
