Comfortable stay with good location. It just take 5 minutes walk to the beach. Very welcoming and smiling staff. Clean room with fridge inside. Recommended place to stay with fabolous massage in De Nyuh Spa with special price 20% off for in house guest.

Good location to go out. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nearby by Seminyak Beach (only 3 minutes by walk). Room was clean and very nice. Tea & Coffee facilities, the fridge, air conditioning, Wi-fi, cable T.V, free bottled water and bathroom items provided. De Nyuh Spa at 5 Floor and i had tried full body massage and i really enjoyed. Will stay here every time we come to Bali. Very affordable.

The best 3 star Hotel..!!

Room was clean,comfort bed, they provide fridge and coffee tea facilities in the room. De Nyuh spa in 5th floor was amazing,breakfast also very good.friendly staff and very helpfull. Very recomended if we want to stay in Seminyak area, 3 minutes walking distance to beautiful seminyak beach and I would like to stay again in Grandmas Hotel Seminyak.

Great value and cool vibes

A very trendy and vibrant hotel. Clean and fresh and centrally located, so you can hit the beach or the bars and shops without it being a major walk. The spa is great, as is the bar and restaurant. We had a few issues with the bathroom, no hand soap - but every other toiletry you would want included, and the sink block on our final night, which was reported but never fixed before check out. A small detail that didn’t cause any real problems, but does stop me giving a 5/5. Would totally return and already considering checking out the other hotels in the group.

Overrated for the price

Excellent location near Seminyak beach with comfy room, good bed, hotel friendly staff. However you can find a much better price elsewhere and get more eg free breakfast, larger pool etc. Building and maintenance noise a fair bit, lack of soundproofing generally. Hotel bicycles were old and somewhat hazardous to ride but they were complimentary and handy to use to get around. Close to good bars, restaurants etc Bring an umbrella for the rainy season as the hotel has very few for guests

Good base for a few days

The hotel has an amazing location and very friendly staff in the hotel and the restaurant. The spa is amazing and very professional! The only bad thing I could say is that the WiFi is so slow that you can even be on Instagram without waiting for pictures to load. The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking and the room smelled a bit mouldy. The pool is not very inviting and there are drivers in front of the hotel 24/7 who will not allow you to use any online app for transport so keep in mind you’ll end up paying triple the price. The breakfast was good and overall a good experience.

Close to everything, wont break the budget

This was our second visit to GrandMas Seminyak, the staff were once again very welcoming at the rate was excellent, the rooms, while on the small side are well serviced and the property is well maintained. We enjoyed the free art class, and the desk staff are ready to advise and assist on day trips or other activities.

Should be classed as a backpackers

The rooms are tiny. And I mean tiny. Great for one, backpackers or with minimal baggage. I think this truly isn’t emphasised enough. Plus they say they have a pool. But it is more like the size of a children’s size pool. It only fits around 3 lounge chairs. No umbrellas or shade. And very open to noise from the restaurant and road.

good location makes it worth the money

Great location close to restaurants and the beach. It has a restaurant and bar attached both serving good food and drink. Only criticisms would be the pool is quite shaded so I didn’t spend any time there, the windows in the room are very narrow so if you are planning on spending time in the room it might get a bit depressing, and finally, the drains in the bathroom smelt when I used the shower or sink but I’ve found that quite common in Bali. Overall a good value for money hotel!

Good for the price

Hotel staff were very friendly and happy to help anyway they could. When I arrived (11pm) the aircon in my room wasn't getting cold. I went to reception and someone was in my room having a look at the problem within minutes and as the problem couldn't be fixed I was given a different room straight away, no hassles. The free Wifi was good and the beds/pillows were super comfy. I will definitely stay here again when I am next in Bali. **Tip 1 - pay the small deposit for a 2nd room key so that you can keep your aircon on all the time instead of removing the room key from the power outlet each time you leave the room. **Tip 2 - Taxi drivers have trouble knowing where this hotel is - we learned to tell them the name of one of the larger hotels close by and then walk to Grandmas (literally 50 meters)
