"Although the design aesthetic was a bit too gaudy for me, this was just a one night stay and the room was as I expected. The staff were incredibly helpful….despite the shuttle bus officially only running between 6am and 9pm, the hotel picked us up at the airport and 9.30pm and returned us to the airport at 5.30am….we did not expect or insist on this, but they kindly offered, despite us saying we would get a taxi. Great service! "

"The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was tiny; but the staff was not an impediment, but also not at all helpful-- expressing a neutrality that is perhaps appropriate for a place on the Swiss border. The property around the hotel seems to be completely fenced, and there's nothing of note around. The sort of place to spend the night if you're getting into the airport late."

"The room was nice and spacious, the service impeccable, the gym was small but had free towels you could use and ice-cold water, which was great! The staff was so nice and you even get a free public transport voucher to use, so you can see Basel all you want!"

"I arrived very early, ready to ask if I could store my luggage until my room was ready, when I was handed the key to my room. I understand this doesn’t always happen, but it was great to get to my room a couple of hours early. My room was lovely with a view of the church. The hotel is in a fantastic location and is perfect for exploring the narrow streets of the old town, but it’s also just steps away from the main shopping area, the river, and other highlights of Basel.
