"This hotel offers a very personal level of service run by a young couple. Communication from Thomas was excellent. The Chateau is located in a small village . Parking was plentiful. The rooms have plenty of character and are large and spacious. However the mattress on the bed was a bit hard for me personally. As a suggestion, a foam mattress topper might be a good idea. We were offered a 3 course meal which we took advantage of especially following a 6 hour drive from Colmar. The dinner was...

"Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. "

"A truly wonderful hidden gem on the French countryside not too far away from Calais. The hosts have created a unique experience in their old farm house with a beautiful large garden even with their own hedge maze in the back garden. Pet friendly, cozy place, comfortable bed in a well equipped room with brick walls and nice decorations both in and outside. Breakfast is served in the conservatory in the main house. Chickens and ducks walk freely around. We loved it!"

"Gorgeous property in the very quiet town of St Omer. We only stayed one night but the room and en suite was lovely and the breakfast with homemade yoghurt a true bonus. Would definitely come again."

"The host for this property was very welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was wonderful beautifully fresh eggs from the chickens you see around the property. I did expect it to be attached to a shopping centre and expected it to have a restaurant as these were in the hotels.com description and neither of these statements are true. But there is a shopping centre within 3 miles and by the sea there are a number of restaurants which are a short drive away ."
