Shilla Stay Seodaemun Seoul Station does the big things well. Rooms are clean, hotel is well maintained. Breakfast is reasonable. Most interactions with staff in both Korean and English were pleasant and helpful, although there are some translation challenges in english, that is to be expected
The little things need work. Bathrobes on occasion had holes. The breakfast menu remained exactly the same for our two week stay.
Additionally, a few small coins went missing from our room. While front desk staff were understanding and helped us to resolve the situation, it was concerning.
For what we paid, and what we needed from a room (a place to sleep while exploring Seoul), it was acceptable. Guests looking for a more luxurious experience should look elsewhere.
