Basic hotel in a good location and spacious room !
Good location, close to Metro station (Jonggak and Anguk) , quite close to Incheon airport bus. Room quite spacious, bigger than average Seoul hotel rooms. A little tricky to find the hotel from airport bus stop. Bedding is ok. Room lighting is very good (bright). Cleanliness is acceptable. Free laundry (separate washer & dryer). Breakfast combination is quite unusual (ie : pasta, sweet potato, egg as one dish) and limited selections in a day. Staffs are quite helpful but not professional (ie not wearing uniforn). The basement area (where the laundry room is) is cluttered and untidy.

First of all the staff at the front desk were amazing. So nice and helpful and checked us in early for no fee. The hotel caters to tourists but still traditional. The gem is the free laundry machines and daily Tooth brushes and toothpaste as well as water. Great location to the streets, shops and food. Great price for the best stay in insadong. Pleasantly surprised!

Had a pleasant stay at Sunbee. The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke great English. Although the hotel didn’t have much amenities (kids pool, spa, etc) it was near a street with many food options and shopping. But the purpose of our visit was to visit the embassy so the lack of amenities didn’t bother us. It was an easy walk to the embassy and Gyeongbokgung Palace from Sunbee. We walked there with our 2 young children. Loved that the hotel had a laundry facility and it was free and detergent was provided. You can also borrow strollers if traveling with young children like us! Would stay here again if planning to visit the surrounding area. Thank you Sunbee Hotel!

鍾路駅から近くどこへ行くにも便利です。 地下鉄を利用したりバスを利用したり、買い物をたくさんしても、一旦ホテルまで戻り荷物を置いてまた出かけるのも苦になりません。 表通りから入ったところにあり、団体客もいないので静かにすごせます。 ホテル受付のスタッフさんは、日中は日本語ペラペラの方、夜間は英語のみのスタッフさんになるみたいです。お二人ともとても感じの良い方でした。 ホテルの部屋はとても広いです。スーツケース二人分じゅうぶんにひろげられます。とかのレベルじゃなく広いです。床がフローリングで暖かかったです。全館空調なのか部屋は暑すぎました。部屋のエアコンもありました。 お風呂と洗面所が一緒になっていますが、こちらも広いです。広すぎてお風呂利用中は寒かったです。 他の方もクチコミに書いていましたが、排水が非常に悪かったです。 地下にランドリーがあるし、ホテル周辺も飲食店多く、とても使い勝手の良いホテルだと思います。ホテルから歩いて、安国に行けるので朝イチではやりのカフェも行けますよ。 マイナス面は排水の悪さと客室ドアが内開きで地味に入りにくいところです。(駅のトイレみたいに扉に挟まりながら入る感じ) クローゼットはありますが(ハンガーいっぱいありました)部屋の壁にカバンを掛けるフック的なものがあったら便利だなと思いました。あとトイレにウォシュレットがあると良かったと思いました。

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the cozy Sunbee Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our week stay. We especially liked the warm flooring, laundry facility, and quiet area that is fairly close to 3 different station lines. We look forward to coming again when we visit Seoul.

受付の男性スタッフさんがとても上手な日本語を話されていて、非常に頼もしく感じました。 海外ホテルでは珍しい部屋の造りで、靴を脱いでお部屋に上がる点、洗面とバスタブが広く作られている点が非常に嬉しかったです。 懸念していたトコジラミもありませんでしたので、こちらのホテルの宿泊を検討している方の参考になれば幸いです。

Very quiet sleep like baby, and on our 25 days leaving of backpack 7 different hotels it’s very nice walk in to place has washing machine and dryer.

First time in Seoul. This small hotel is tucked in a narrow corner, but it is right next to the main walking street for Insadong. The guy at the desk spoke great english and gave me a map of the neighborhood with recommended restaurants. I ate at a few of them and they were great. I was able to walk to both temples, and the village and myeongdong. There are 3 different subway stations that are all about 5-10 min walk away that can get you to other parts of Seoul like the markets and Gangnam. I had a free coffee in the cafe every morning and they have a free laundry in the basement which I used. The room was pretty big and the bathroom was big too. No shower curtain, which I guess is normal in Korea. I got a taxi to Gimpo at 5am and it was no problem and took about 30 min. Two free bottles of water in the fridge every day was very nice. Everyone recommends to stay in Myeongdong for a first timer, but I am really glad I stayed here in Insadong. It's closer to the tourist sites and less hectic and less commercial.

The Sunbee is tucked away in a quiet street but still close to Insadong Street. Nice spacious rooms and very quiet.

Sunbee was a great choice, loved the place and the property, staff were very nice and accommodating. The room and bathroom itself was beautiful. As two mid-twenty friends, we loved our stay here, even wish we stayed at Sunbee when we returned to Seoul. The room was spacious (king bed), lots of closet space and ground floor for storing the bags. The washroom was breathtaking after having stayed in questionable hotels and hostels previously. It is a wet bathroom in case you’re wondering. Quite safe with two doors to get into the room itself, and we were able to walk around the area at night though I’d advise of course always pairing up as you would with any city. The hotel is located close to both bus stops and subway stations and very close to Insadong st, Ikseondong (great for souvenirs and cafes), as well as the bigger attractions like Gyeongbokgung palace and others. Would highly highly recommend anyone to stay here - whether you’re younger friends/family, family with kids, or older adults. The hotel is quiet with no noisy distractions in the area.

You’ll appreciate this hotel so much more after your visit to the nearby palace. It’s design is similar to one of the buildings(?) there. Loved the simplicity yet very practical design. So much room for luggage. The heated floors when the temp dropped this weekend was a nice touch. The ease and ability to open windows along with a cooling system when the hotel got to hot from the heat. And the comfy bed made it a good nice rest after long days out. So close to insadong ro! Lastly, the staff are so respectful and helpful. Would stay again.

Great location.
Great hotel in a great location. Super kind and friendly staff, very clean, and nice coffee at the cafe to start your day. Easy walk to restaurants, convenience stores and grocery stores. A couple of blocks away from the main street. Nice little laundry area that the hotel lets you use.

I enjoyed staying at the Sunbee. The personnel were really helpful and kind all the time. Insadong is a great area to stay, lots of Seoul top attractions are walking distance and there are 3 metro starions close by. It was very calm and not noisy in the evening for proper sleep. The rooms are really big, clean and tidy. The beds with clean sheets. I loved it. Thanks so much guys, keep up the good work.

Nice location, good hotel
If you’re looking to stay in Insadong this is a great location on a quiet back street, within 10 minutes walk of three different subway stations. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful, especially when we asked for help with getting a taxi to Seoul Station. The room was large and fairly plain. It’s showing its age a bit but was comfortable and had everything we needed.
