"The hotel was clean, spacious and comfortable. I would have preferred the bed to have had a thinner duvet as the room was hot and it was too noisy too sleep with the window open. There were tea making facilities in the room and the receptionists were happy to supply extra tea bags when asked. The hotel is 2 minutes away from bus stops to and from the main station, and near a major landmark so it's easy to find. It's also within walking distance of the shopping centre and tourist spots. "Amazing hotel in a great location. The river is on one side with nice views of the city, then you have the Christmas market on the other side during December. Super convenient location and you can get to anywhere in Basel taking the tram. "

"The stay was great at the Mercure Belfort. Just a one night stopover but it was very good. Staff were very helpful and the room was lovely. Ate in the bar/restaurant connected to the hotel, this was all deck out for Halloween and was quite buzzing busy. Never the less we got a table and the food was good. We also charged the car overnight and the charger was good, perfect for overnight charge. Would definitely stay again."

"the hotel is good but a bit pricy. very clean and tidy, smells nice. no shops around is a downside of it, as not everyone would want to have a dinner at the hotel. surrounding looks great, like in a fairy. we loved our stay at this hotel. thank you"
