"Room was clean as well as the bathroom. Room has flooring and was spacious. Full size refrigerator and microwave. Desk agent accommodated us by putting us on the first floor after finding out there’s No elevator.. and we were tired. I like having our vehicle right outside our door. Quiet area, but close to downtown and restaurants. We had a great nights sleep. Breakfast wasn’t much to speak of. Make your own waffles, raspberry packaged pastry, instant grits or oatmeal. I think a ceral or 2. Thats about it. "

"Very clean room. Beds were extremely comfortable. The 4 pillows per bed are much appreciated. Makes a world of a sleep difference. The breakfast was excellent of scrambled eggs, two different types of sausage and the fresh brew coffee available at any hour! It is close enough to walk to all the shops, restaurants in downtown Helen. Easy walk to one of the 1 mile trails along the river. Would definitely stay here if we go back."

"The price was very good. We liked that the motel was close enough to walk to attractions and restaurant's, but far enough away to not have the noise and traffic of other visitors. The motel needs a lot of work, but was tidy. It needed a lot of updating and freshening. There was one safety concern that was addressed to the staff. The staff was polite and helpful. "

"Lovely staff, unfortunately the bed in the Sweetheart room dipped on either side and squeaked everytime you moved a limb, The mattresses were meant to have been rerplaced 3 years ago so can only assume is the old bed boxes it was on. and looking at one of the other rooms that one did the same, The fan would only work if the light was on so no way of keeping the room cool at night had it been hot and you wanted to sleep. The mossie mess on the veranda door was hanging off, The was linen stacked on a table in the dining room , a pile of crafting materials in the lounge ... tasks waiting to be completed. Music was left playing all night and the following day - Great location, we like to use and support independent B&B's sadly this did not live up to our expectations, having looked at the reviews again they are all about the staff and breakfast, not the environment -which was mixed and needs some TLC - but has great potential - some lovely pieces of furniture and antiques, mixed with some odd modern pictures ( but the latter is our opinion) "
