We spent a week at this treasure of a hotel. We loved every aspect of our stay—the room with a spectacular view, the food, the pool, the serenity of the location, but most of all the kind and accommodating family owners and their wonderful staff.

What a wonderful hotel. Family run and the service was just excellent. The location is fantastic, best view in the entire area. The restaurant for dinner was just superb, the food, the view the service was 10 stars…we hope to return soon and will stay here.

This is my second time to this lovely hotel and 4th time to St Angelo. There is something very special about this place the warmth and friendship of all the family and staff is unique. If your looking for five star luxury then this is not the place for you but it’s quirky style and amazing food is a delight

Fantastisk hotell - makalös utsikt mot havet

Vi bodde 1 vecka en familj i ett rum med havsutsikt och en jättestor terrass. Mycket vänlig personal på alla sätt och vis. Personalen tog genast hand om alla resväskor och bar upp dem till hotellrummet när vi kom och bar ned resväskorna när vi åkte. Kaffet till frukosten var mycket gott. Fantastisk utsikt över Sant’ Angelo och havet från terrassen som tillhörde hotellrummet. Fräscht hotellrum i det stora hela. Det kändes inte trångt. Mycket vacker utsikt över havet från hotellets restaurang på kvällen. Hotellet har troligen Sant’ Angelos bästa läge, högt uppe på en kulle. Vi är mycket nöjda och kommer gärna tillbaka!

Fantastic stay at this amazing hotel. Food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff could not have been friendlier. Pool area and room views were great. Guido’s knowledge of the island was very helpful in planning our 10 days in Ischia. They booked our boat tour for us. If we came again we would definitely pay for the dinner half board package because we regretted not choosing it.

THE hotel of Ischia

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing week at Villa Sirena. First of all the hotel personal was amazing and helpful. It is a pure family run business for the last 3 generations and you feel that as a guest. The breakfast was good but not overwhelming. The wifi was mediocre and the beds was a bit hard - however these small things meant nothing because of the location, food at the restaurant and the friendly people. We will return!

Its just ok

It was ok..nothing special ..location was good but long walk to a beach ...i just do t understand why all beaches are covered in sunbeds for 50 e a couple and no one is on them...we were full board and food was ok..but unfortunately we were put to the back of the hotel when eating in a covered area so never got to see the view whilst eating...the breakfast was ok but was a canteen type thing with food being controlled by waitress ...a bit strange...we were charged 8 euro for lime and soda as we were told it was 2 mixers ..we just shook are heads ..never really drank there again...its an ok place worthy of 2 to 3 stars

The hotel is located in Sant'Angelo, in the Southern part of Ischia, with amazing views of the village, ocean and cliffs. This is a family hotel, with restaurant and pizzeria, gardens. Guido was an amazing host, and his mother makes delicious cappuccinos. The breakfast in-house grown figs were simply out-of-this world. If you like to walk, you can walk to the hot sands beach in one direction and to the Aphrodite Thermal Park on the other (DO NOT MISS IT; you will need a whole day there). Getting to Forio (the part of the island with more restaurants, gelaterias, and a lively night life) can run from €20 to 30. It is a beautifully family-run place, whre I spent a whole week, and I certainly would stay there again when in Ischia.

Great family hospitality!

I would recommend Villa Sirena to anyone that wants to experience a great family run hotel. The rooms were nice, a bit small but had a newly redone bathroom, good AC, and a beautiful view from the large terrace equipped with lounge chairs, the staff were very attentive towel changes and maid service daily. The one downfall was no fridge, but they had no problem providing an ice bucket for our afternoon and evening wines for the terrace. The pool was modest sized but quiet, and also included a whirlpool room, surrounded by vegetation that is likely used in the kitchen of the incredible restaurant. We are from NYC and have high standards when it comes to food and experience, this place really hit all the marks for the price. The best part about this hotel is the restaurant. The breakfast is typical italian pastries, yogurts, meats and cheeses, as well as fresh fruit picked from their grounds, served by the family patriarch. Lunch is a smaller menu to the dinner, but great for a mid day meal in between activities. Dinner however is fantastic, we dined at the islands 2 michelin star restaurant one night, while a beautiful experience, we preferred the tasting menu at Villa Sirena. The chef makes great versions of Italian classics (the rabbit was best I've ever had), the anchovies were fresh and perfectly flavored, and the pizza (prepared by Guido, the son and do everything guy) was some of, if not the best, we have ever had. Fint sentralt hotell med suveren utsikt. Store rene rom og stor veranda med havutsikt. God seng. Kjøleskap på rommet. Veldig enkel frokost. Bassenget er lite og ligger litt bortgjemt, iskaldt vann når vi var der. Hyggelig betjening

Avoid! Hugely disappointing!

I booked a triple room with garden view on half board. At €233 a night. The tiny dark room was not in main hotel but up three flights of stairs to roof/garden area with no elevator. ! Our tiny room had no privacy since window was in passageway to pool and looked out onto maid’s broom/mop/bucket area. Meals were not served on the beautiful terrace restaurant as advertised - but in a covered yard with no view. I hardly touched my very low quality dinners and went down to village to eat after. I have never so eaten badly in Italy - this was my first bad experience. I have eaten much better at my university canteen! Buffet breakfast is a joke with the owner supervising and handing you everything on a tiny plate from behind a Perspex. (Covid restrictions had been lifted months before) cheap packaged juices poured by him Into a tiny plastic cup. Nowhere to have a drink and enjoy the view because it is reserved for restaurant clients. . No receptionist ever present. Only waiters. This is not a Hotel. It is a glorified restaurant with rooms. And very tiny ugly ones at that. Three flights of stairs carrying our luggage was the cherry on the cake .

Skønt hotel

Vi elskede Villa Sirena. Udsigten fra hotellet var fantastisk. Familien, der havde hotellet var så søde og hjælpsomme, og vi følte os meget velkomne. Poolområdet var en skøn oase med liggestole og udsigt. Almindelige biler kører ikke i området. Der kører små el-biler, der også bringer bagagen op til hotellet, som ligger et stykke over den hyggelige havn.

One of our best stays ever

I could not fault this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The location was fantastic if you don't mind a short steep climb from the beach, with fantastic panoramic views. The food here is fantastic, particularly the pizza, and reasonably priced, and the staff were incredibly knowledgable on the hundreds of wines on their wine list. It's only a few minutes from the centre of the village with plenty of other restaurants too. The only downside is the price of the sunbeds on the beach here, but the hotel has no control over that one. There is atleast a refreshing pool on the roof
