"Could not fault this hotel. Absolutely wonderful. The only reason not 5 star for cleanliness was the American Bar was not clean when we visited it. Dirty plates and glasses left on the bar which was a shame because the rest of the hotel was faultless "

"Arrived during a thunderstorm and our front office host was most charming and carried our large bags up to the second floor. The property itself has a great history and authenticity and stands apart from a new build hotel which is what we sought but it could do with a bit of an upgrade.
