Great place, good food, and friendly staff. The loft sleeping area is small but useable... make sure you have thought about who will sleep there before you book.

The entrance is upstairs over a bike shop which was a little surprising but fine. Nice room with good views. Superb breakfast.

Very responsive. Helpful tips to enjoy the area. Place is well located. Far enough from the cruise ship crowds and yet within a few mins walk from the town’s free shuttle stop, restaurants, sea life center and still walkable to the busier side of town.

A Swan Nest Inn was a lovely B&B. Breakfast was great, the room was very nice and the bathroom was large. It had a walk in shower which I loved. If a 2nd bed is needed, please know that it is in a loft, accessible via a ladder on the wall. We only needed one bed, but if you’re looking for 2, that’s where the 2nd one is. I have been told the ceiling is low there as well. Very comfortable stay. Nearby to a couple restaurants.

Service was great; breakfast made to order. Delicious and plentiful. Homemade bread and fruit were a great addition. Not your normal hotel room, but very nice change.

We'd like to go back to Seward and if we do, we'll stay at A Swan Nest. Walk ability to Seward and the beautiful water!. Great breakfast served. Best shower 'water' ever. Our bed. Wsa very comfortable. Very old building, well maintained. character plus. Guests must climb 20 steps.

This is a lovely and quaint bed-and-breakfast in Seward. The location is good for exploring the historic downtown area with the shops and restaurants. There is a city shuttle if you wanna go further north in town for some excursions. Most excursion companies also offer a free pick up. It is a much better neighborhood to stay and then uptown. Sara and her staff operate this property and take care of your every need. The morning, hot breakfast to order was outstanding! We enjoyed fresh fruit salad, eggs to order bacon, and sausage and amazing sourdough waffles. Certainly a really good find in Seward!

Got a south facing room that got very hot in the afternoons due to direct sun on the wall. Most places in Seward don't have an A/C. The ceiling fan was noisy and inadequate. Since there was no other vacant room, their suggestion was to open the window which meant loss of privacy and street noise not to mention sunlight inside the room. Didn't help much with the heat. Didn't see anyone at the front desk for the 3 days I was there, all communication was via texting which seemed so impersonal to me. I was asked to provide my personal phone number since apparently Expedia is bad at communicating with the host. However, my initial questions went unanswered for many hours, apparently my messages went to spam even though the host initiated the text messaging and sent a bunch of documents before my questions. The room opened into the dining area so every morning I was woken up by the noise of people having breakfast. The hot cooked breakfast every morning by Jada was a welcome silver lining. Thank you, Jada. The host very graciously offered to cancel my reservation so I could look for something else but it was too late, nothing suitable was available at short notice.
