"This is the fourth time staying at this hotel so we know and liked this hotel. The staff are fabulous and the location is awesome. However we were disappointed with this stay as the quality of the facility has gone down. The pillows and beds were very soft and bedding was scratchy on the skin. Everyone in my party woke with sore necks, shoulders and backs. The toilet paper was so rough that even the ones at the adjacent mall was noticeably a better grade. The hotel no longer provides nail care or sewing kits and the slippers provided are of poor quality. Having stayed in hotels in China on this stay, we were not impressed with Royal Plaza this time around."

"This hotel is very well located. This was my second stay. They have a food court at the basement level, which has some excellent food. Great prices as well. The staff are always helpful. We had an issue with the pillows. 1 was very soft and the other very high and firm. When my partner asked for any other solution he wasn't helped much. I went back later in the pm and spoke to a young man who came up with a solution. I received however, 2 quilts?!!. I then left a note for the cleaner who serviced our rooms. They changed it. The room itself was comfortable and cleaned every day. The only downside is the very thin door and walls. I could hear every door bang, conversation in the corridors or in the adjacent rooms. This did wake me up a few times."

"7 nights stay. Nice location, easy access to all kinds of transits. Lots of restaurants around. Could be a bit overwhelming to access the hotel at the beginning as there are a few entrances, but on the flip side, more convenient if you know the way. Staffs are helpful and professional, especially the house keeping lady. Room is clean and quiet. Very comfy. 👍👍👍👍👍"

"The property and the room are meticulous, and the amenities are adequate. The staff is well-trained, and the breakfast is adequate. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to one of the biggest shopping malls in Sha Tin. The overall value is worth it."

"The hotel offers a value alternative to the other chain hotels in Hong Kong. The location is not the most convenient for shopping or nice restaurants, but taxis are always available. The harbor view rooms have been recently redone vs the city view rooms which are showing their age. Also the city view room had a damp AC smell. The hotel restaurant had a nice breakfast and dinner buffets plus an a la cart menu. The major issue I had was when booking a reservation online I accidentally entered the wrong date and clicked confirmed before realizing it. I canceled the reservation and rebooked for the correct dates. After my arrival and speaking with hotel management they refused to refund my $500 USD for the wrong dates!!! I will not be staying at this hotel again."
