"Loved the plus of the laundry amenities !!"

"The Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston is conveniently located just off the highway, roughly halfway between Kingston's historic Rondout–West Strand District and downtown Woodstock. It also sits at the eastern end of the scenic 29-mile O&W Rail Trail, with a bicycle rental shop conveniently located next door. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is extremely run-down and in need of significant renovation. The bed was completely worn out, the shower temperature could not be regulated, the window shades did...

"This hotel met our needs. It was comfortable and quiet. Coffee and tea were in the lobby. It was a convenient to Saugerties for dinner and shopping and not far from Woodstock."

"Just needed a clean affordable place to sleep for a few days while exploring the area . Shower was warm, good pressure. Ac is a small window unit Decent sized refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable bed. This fit the bill. Loved that I could park right in front of my door every day. Only downside was flies. There seemed to be an abundance of them. Not that the place was dirty, might be a seasonable thing, or where they are located, but I shared my room with at least threr of these tiny...

"Beds were comically hard and actually somehow rocked like a seesaw with the slightest movement. Shower head sprayed all over bathroom like a high powered sprinkler. About 3 mins of hot water. Room smelled musty but appeared clean. Nice location next to brewery restaurant."

First, of note, was the very (!) comfortable bed , thoughtful amenities --including a TV with streaming subscriptions all loaded. along with added space to settle in the sitting room which had a fridge and freezer. The centrality of this charming historic property --within easy walking distance of sites, restaurants, book store and shops--was of importance to us. We felt free to use it as a base to explore the city of Kingston...
