Cari Safari Tentalow di Shanklin

"We had an ok stay. Overall there was a lot more good than bad. Positives: - Room and the rest of the hotel were nicely decorated, and more modern style than most nearby hotels - Cleanliness was good and the room was serviced efficiently - Breakfast was very good quality and the standard was fairly consistent - Three EV chargers and lots of parking. All chargers were Type 2, so if your car needs a CHAdeMO connector then you're out of luck, but they are uncommon now anyway. Charger was expensive...

"Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine."

"Liked Clean room with a balcony and on the ground floor Friendly helpful and efficient staff Access to beach and town Excellent food Beautiful gardens Subtle Live entertainment Indoor pool was smaller than anticipated"

"The room its self was clean but very tired. It was very cold as the window/door lets in a draught (old building) but we were provided with a large blanket on arrival but the electric fire in the room was more for decoration rather than heat. The staff were happy to help with our requests for extra towels and coffee. It was a very unique experience."

"Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room."

"Good location with incredible sea views. Unfortunately, with only a few guests there was no breakfast, no food & no bar open which was disappointing."

"Perfect location in Shanklin, wonderful views. It’s just a short walk to the old village and Shanklin Chine. The hotel is a little tired in places but overall it was very good. It’s great that you can use the facilities in the sister hotel next door so there’s plenty to enjoy."

"Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast too."

"The Trouville is a lovely hotel on the seafront of Sandown. We booked two triple rooms with sea views for a family stay. The rooms are a great size plenty of storage and space to move around. We had a lovely night sleep with the waves crashing on to the beach. The breakfast was great we chose to have the cooked breakfast which was nice and there were lots of continental options which we could help ourselves to. The staff member was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We...
