"The Sequoia Suite was very nice. The room was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size with stand up shower and tub. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. One was thicker than the other and very dense. More pillow options would be helpful. We never saw a staff member or talked to anyone. There wasn't a place to check-in when we arrived. I was texted a code for getting into our room. Also, they advertise that breakfast is included with the room, but...

"The room was nice and roomy and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and everything was in working order. My only complaints was there was no A/C or fan so it was hotter inside than outside, when we opened the windows it cooled off a good bit though. The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. We stayed here just passing through but I’d love to come back and stay in one of the bigger cabins and explore the lake someday soon!"

"You can’t beat the location! Very short walking distance to eating options, local grocery and the local bar. 15 minute drive from Oakhurst for additional options. "We will not be returning. The front desk is only open for a few hours in the morning and before our stay started we called multiple times and never got an answer. Once we were turning in for the night we pulled the linens back to find a dead bug smeared into the sheets as well as random small stains scattered around. Once we called the after hours number someone came and told us “welcome to the country folks” and was very condescending. The room was also insanely dusty and an allergy nightmare....

"We stayed at this Holiday Inn for two nights. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The view of the hills was beautiful, and we were impressed that there was virtually no noise from the road outside. The location was also very convenient for visiting Yosemite. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

"Top 5 best hotels I have ever stayed at. Clean room, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and well maintained grounds. Big enough to comfortably sleep my family of 4. Best breakfast ever and 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, how can you go wrong?! I highly recommend this hotel. I will be back again!"

"ANTS!! There were ants everywhere including our bed. When we told housekeeping, they told us some of the other rooms were having the same issue. The blankets also smelled like mildew. There is no fridge or microwave in the room. They have a communal kitchen for an added fee. The somewhat of a silver lining is their cafe which was okay..a bit overpriced for what it was though. The staff in the restaurant were sweet. I unfortunately will not be returning."
