"We booked Hempstead House for a relaxing night away, but instead spent the evening listening to a wedding reception directly beneath our room. The loud music, guests partying in the courtyard and noise from people returning to their rooms meant we had a very poor night’s sleep.
I completely understand that weddings are an important part of the hotel’s business, and I have no issue with the wedding itself. What I do object to is being allocated a room overlooking the reception when we were not...
