"Although location, lobby and stuff was good the newly updated rooms at the West tower were dirty and poorly taken care of. I found condiment packages behind the sink, mold in the sink, crumbs, and chocolate on the carpet floor and the blood on the bathroom wall, not to mention a very foul odor in the room. The Hyatt Regency has a vote, respected name across the country, but I was disappointed."

"We had a great time, the location is perfect. It the center of Michigan Ave. We were able to walk to so many sites. The Staff was so wonderful, very helpful and friendly. So very personable. The rooms were good, clean, nothing special, but spacious for the city. The pool area was beautiful. It was a bit strange but there was no staff at the gym, pool area. "Great to look at and if your nose doesn’t work. Smells horrible due to either less usage or sewerage back up. It took us a while to acclimatize so we can sleep. We arrived after midnight so didn’t have enough time to ask for change in room and ho through other hassles. But they need to clean rooms more often even if they’re not used. "
