"Stayed in the old mansion house section of the Hotel which had lovely period features. Pool was nice and the food in the resteraunt was excellnt for the evening meal and breakfast that we had."

"Lovely country property, with ample parking & grounds. The hotel appears to regularly cater for weddings as a venue, and as such is suitably equipped. Accessibility for those with restricted movement or chairs may be a little challenging, however the staff are very helpful and would certainly have solutions. It's an old manor house after all......... The room was large, tastefully period fitted & decorated, with ample space. Comfortable bed & mattress, clean and fragrant towels & sheets. As a converted barn room, there are still "residents" (spiders) which I personally have no issues with whatsoever, and some discreet cobwebs up high in the rafter ceiling area. Some may have an issue with this, however it is not a sign of being unclean ; it's the sign of a building which is 100's of years old ! Breakfast was good : Full English was ordered, and it was nicely presented & tasty, along with being just the right size. The coffee was plentiful (alas, for my tastes it was too mild. Have had far worse at more prestigious hotels : Having an option of stronger roasted coffee would have been excellent). A great value stay. Will definitely be using the venue in the future. Staff are lovely, the quiet tranquil setting & wildlife reminded me of home, and food is good. They also have excellent GF & vegetarian options on the menu."

"Parts of the Hotel needs refurbishment. The room we stayed in was adequate, comfy beds, although they need to change the pillows, two on each bed were flat. Bedding was clean white cotton sheets and towels were clean but a bit frayed. The shower in the bathroom had mould around the sealant. Tea and coffee facilities available in room but no option for Decaf. The staff were lovely, helpful at booking in and we booked a table to eat there on the evening. The food was excellent. This is a budget hotel so don’t have high expectations and you will have a good stay."

"Staff and management are very friendly and welcoming very good value rooms. The food is to a very high standard ( a bit pricey and needs more choice ). I would definitely return for a stay here."

"We stayed at the hotel for one night. Clean room and nice spaces bathroom. It's close by shops and Abbey which is beautiful. We had a peaceful sleep. Highly recommended this hotel to everyone"
