"Well located hotel. Robert on reception was very helpful & knowledgeable. However, there were a number of things that annoyed me. No shower cap, no face washer, no rubbish bags in the bins. Different person's name on the welcome on the tv which couldn’t be changed. The bedding was uncomfortable, didn’t seem to fit very well. In the bar I tried to put my meal on my room but couldn’t because I hadn’t been asked for a credit card when I checked in. Was able to pay by cash even though on Expedia it said the hotel was cashless! "

"The staff were great. The room was stone cold and even with the radiator control in the room, it took over 2hrs to even start to warm slightly. Obviously centrally controlled as it went off again in the night and was freezing again when the alarm went off. Food was OK and the rating of a 9 online is overrated. 7.5 would be a fairer score. Certainly not terrible but not particularly welcoming stay either."
