"Amazing Hosts. Wonderful place. We loved our visit and will have a long memory of Laddakh in our lives because of great hotel staff. Don't forget to ask for Dorjee driver for your taxi travel. One of the best driver I have every driven with (and you will need it because of rough terrain). I could trust him with my family in car on treacherous Himalayan roads and a whole bunch of aggressive drivers around."
"The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah. "We loved our stay at Le Mentok resort. Stayed there for 4 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. It is an ideal property if one is looking for a relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of the town and main markets. We had no problems getting around to see other places whenever we wanted to by simply booking a taxi. The resort is well maintained and the staff is very helpful. The quality of food at their restaurant was also very good.

"I went to Leh towards end of January for a peaceful retreat, the staff of this hotel made my experience amazing. They helped me plan the perfect itinerary and arranged for transportation.

"Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. "The staff and management team were absolutely wonderful. This is a clean, quiet, family-friendly hotel located just outside the busy city center of Leh. The front courtyard is a veritable oasis, beautifully manicured and filled with fruit trees. I will be staying here on my next visit to Leh."
