"秋の紅葉の季節にお邪魔しました。ちょうど空きが出たという事で部屋をスィートにアップグレードしていただきとてもリッチな気分になりました。 掃除も行き届いていて快適なホテルライフを過ごすことができました。 朝食のレストランから見た東山からの日の出はとても印象的でした。 駐車場が常設されていないのが残念でしたが、祇園や先斗町に近くて、ザ・京都を堪能させていただきました。 また季節を変えて伺いたいと思います。"

"A very lovely hotel with a nice onsen, the rooms are small but comfortable, the lounge at night is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some music and quiet conversations. The staff is friendly, extremely patient and helpful as well. It is nicely situated near several shops, restaurants (be warned the shops on the main strip and some of the off streets close at 8pm) and close to a few train lines/rails. Overall a nice stay. "

"Great location that is a bus ride away from Gion. Loved the access to the underground subway walkway and daily free sake from the sake serving machine downstairs. It is great that there is a coffee machine in the lobby but the coffee is not great. Having access to washer/dryer was a plus. They worked well and you could also monitor on the availability on a webpage to know when a machine is available and when your wash is done. The staff was prompt in their service. The room themselves could have been cleaner, the walls in the room have been dinged up by suitcases over time. The public bath is great. The location was alright, it's actually not as central to most of the hotspots in Kyoto but being close to Nijo Station which has a subway line and a JR line helped alot."
