"The desk staff were not very courteous and very unprofessional. The breakfast was not very good. The person at the desk was not helpful when asking questions about extra napkins and we were told the refrigerator was broken. The creamer for the coffee which needed refrigeration was left out at all times."

"I travel a lot and this hotel rates highly compared to others I’ve stayed in. The property was clean, and the room itself was spotless and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. "It was very nice and clean and quiet. However, none of the ice machines worked. It would have been nice if the staff would have let me know when I checked in so that I didn't have to check each floor to find out for myself. The breakfast was a little sad too. It might have been better advertised as continental and then be happily surprised."

"This Red Lion is conventient and inexensive. I stay there frequently when I'm working in the area. Having said this, there are some minor issues almost every time I stay. This time, the safty latch on the inside of the room door was busted out and completely missing. Also a pair of socks from a previous guest was left on the shelf above the coat hangers. "Property was adequate for a nights rest. Maintenance is lacking-shower wall above shower head looks bad. Only one plug in on wall by ironing board worked; Stains on carpet; wash clothes are thin enough to see though. Breakfast had not much to offer for diabetics, no fruit, waffle mix took a very long time to fill cup even halfway. Hot water was Luke warm. I like Super 8 but this one could use some “extra”."

"This hotel was in the perfect location across the street from the gateway arch and a few blocks from Busch stadium. The parking garage and hotel were secure. The hotel staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were a plus as well as complimentary cocktails. The hotel pool was nice and we enjoyed the sunset from the outdoor patio and arch view."

"The only downside I would say would be the espresso machine in the hotel room instead of an actual coffee machine, and the park beside the hotel has a bit of possibly a drug/homelessness problem. Oftentimes we did not feel comfortable walking near it or outside but the abundance of staff around made it better."
