The rooms were small but clean.it seems very costly as compared to size and amenities. There was smell. Outside the rooms.they put on exhaust fan but not to much relief. The room servings boys were Good. The tea is good but breakfast quality low so we didn't taste dinner. One can get much better room at this rate.

Inexpensive, basic place to stay

This is "you get what you pay for" kind of situation. It is a basic hotel struggling to be nice to the guests but you can see that they simply do not have resources to bring it up a notch. The location is difficult to find and difficult to access, as it is in the middle of the hillside bazar, accessible only on foot. They also offer taxi services - we took their offer to take us to Kalka, which was quite a bit cheaper than the market.
