"I originally wasn’t excited about staying at the Oceanview Inn in Cresent City because it looked very outdated & worried about comfortable beds and cleanliness. The wallpaper boarder was gone and the great grandma bedspreads had been replaced. The room was VERY clean and HUGE! One reason I did book this motel was because the bath vanity looked large and was outside the shower area. We find this very convenient. I hate a small vanity area. It also had air conditioning which is apparently rare in PNW. They also had elevators which is also rare but very nice to haul luggage. Would highly recommend to all."

"The room was very spacious and clean, the only downside was the creaky flooring! We were on the second floor and when the upstairs guest checked in, all they did was walk back and forth in the room for what seemed like the next couple of hours. Although not a direct fault of the hotel, be aware that this is an issue if you prefer a quiet room. Otherwise, everything else was great: the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was early with lots of choices. Overall, a perfect base to visit everything the area has to offer, especially the nearby Redwood Parks."

"Contrary to some reviews our room was very up to date. It was very clean. The breakfast included was typical free breakfast fare, but was great for us getting going early and fast. View of the beach was great. Rooms were quiet. All in all highly recommend!"
