"I made the reservation with no issues, everything was booked and I received a confirmation email; however, the day of they call me and said there was an issue with my card. I received 2 calls saying my card didn't go through, but when I allowed Stephanie, front desk clerk to run my card verbally, everything was fine. My daughter and I arrived and received the keys left for me in a drop box. Finally removed my things from the car, step in the room and I couldn't believe my eyes! The room I was given had dirty sheets (pictures, cracked floors with holes in it, the air conditioner unit was so loud it sounded like an airplane taking off and it had an awful smell. I took pictures immediately. We couldn't believe this! My daughter was scared to even sit on the bed and afraid that we would fall through the floor. We put towels everywhere we could sit until morning came and I had a chance to speak with the manager. He informed me that my room was given away and that they gave me what they had left! UNACCEPTABLE!! I asked for myoney back in which he said there was nothing he could do. He apologized and gave us another room that looked like a suite compared to the rat hole room I was first given. I asked again about what they were going to do about it and again I was told there was nothing they could dand that I had to contact Expedia!
