"They include free fountain drinks which is a great benefit when you have kids. The free breakfast is nice to and healthy options as well. Staff is always friendly. Only complaint is the walls are thin so their was a lot of weird noises in the middle of the night which kept my little one up, which in turn kept me up with the little one."

"One of the better chain hotels we've stayed in. My husband finds it hard to sleep and he had the best night's sleep in years. The bathroom was a bit small but the bench space is big and so was the room. The staff were also very friendly. Highly recommended."

"Pulling into the motel the roof looked a mess and when my husband went in to register the lobby smelled awful and the chairs were torn and dirty. We contacted Expedia and they called the manager who refused to let them can the reservation. The room was ok, nice bed and tv. Bathroom needed work/repairs."

"Bathroom door didn't close. Remote for TV didn't work. In order to access wifi, had to call an 800#. Never heard of that before? Typically, it's written on your card. The pool was shut down due to issues"

"Stay here if you want to hear intimate moments of your neighbors waking you through the night. I'm not a prude. The walls and doors are paper thin. Dirty entry to building.Dirty halls, Dirty room. Moldy shower. Yellow gunk, hair and God knows what else thriving behind the bathroom door. The elevator cried with every move, beat up, wallpaper ripped, chunks of paint knocked off the sad walls. The whole place smelled like dog pee. This needs torn down or shut down and sanitized and rebuilt. Gross."

"This is a newer hotel so I feel that all staff and amenities are very pleasing. The stay was comfortable, everything was clean & the hotel staff is friendly. To my knowledge, there are only two chain hotels located directly in Crown Point. All other hotels are in Merrillville - the neighboring city. Towne Place is directly across from everything that seems to be of convenience; restaurants, gas, groceries, & U. Of Chicago extension hospital..."
