"Breakfast buffet was great. But time to stop imposing the silly Covid-era measures in the dining area, all of which have proven to be without any scientific or medical basis. If there are guests that complain about removing such measures, they should just stay at home with their neuroses and not bother to leave their homes. Other than that, what a lovely dog friendly place to stay! The pool is great; I would just ask the management to consider revising the morning opening times which make it difficult to enjoy the pool and onsen, in addition to taking breakfast. "

"We had the Mt Fuji View superior twin room (middle floor = 6/F - 9/F). 26.5 m2. I requested a room on a higher floor and we got a room on 7/F. We were very happy. Once I got into the room, my first thought was "This is so luxurious!" It is indeed a luxury hotel. And there were two chairs in front of the ceiling-to-floor glass panel for us to enjoy the Fujisan view. It was amazing. We could see Fujisan at different times of the day under all different weather conditions!! Not to mention the fact that we saw the rare "ring clouds" in the last afternoon we were there! The room was even better than how it looked in the photos. Breakfast at Robata Grill L'EAU has all the usual items plus French toasts, the famous Mishima Croquettes, grilled salmon steaks, mackerel pieces and even whole horse mackerels! The view on 13/F was just as amazing! The hotel uses the Fujisan motif everywhere, from the room key card sleeve, the Do not disturb and Please make up room signs to the crockery in the rooms. And I think the quilt covers feature patterns of Mishima symbols. I saw them on the glass panels at the Mishima Tourist Information Centre and asked what they were. I thought that was a nice touch. Just as few notes if this is your first time in this area: Difficult to use the appliances as they are in Japanese, even though they provide a QR code with instructions we couldn’t use it. There are no dining options nearby and no restaurant at the hotel. Check-in is virtual and they are strict with the 3 pm check-in. Difficult to find or request taxis. "
