"The standout part of our stay was the professionalism and solicitousness of the staff. They really go above and beyond.
The hotel is located outside the small and unremarkable town of El Jadida - too far to walk at an hour's distance and unknown and complicated for taxi drivers. Best to show them the hotel on GPS and guide them on the way there.
At the hotel one can enjoy the (unheated) large outdoor pool and terrace area, which has plenty of lounge chairs and tables. There is a large hammam and well equipped gym, and currently one dining room with limited menu options for lunch, dinner and room service. However, they generously prepared a delicious off-menu vegetable soup to accommodate this traveller. The breakfast buffet is exceptional: large with multiple cereal options, breads and jams, eggs any style, fresh fruit and juices, coffee and teas, and traditional Moroccan fare - it was a highlight of our stay.
The rooms and bathrooms are a generous size and the showers are superb. The TV has a good assortment of English, French and Arabic news channels and shows, plus access to streaming services. A small note for housekeeping: maybe turn down the atomic-strength flush of the toilet and vacuum the carpets between visitors. Also perhaps offer a recycling container for plastic bottles; just a thought. I wouldn't insist on a sea view: the beach can be seen from the street, it's full of litter, and the road can be noisy with street traffic. Ask for a pool view."
"This was a very pleasant experience and a very interesting old property but well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful and it was in a great location to see the walls and the old part of the town. I would recommend it. A very historic place"
"We absolutely loved our stay at Mazagan. The whole place was exceptionally clean, staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The food offer was outstanding, we had breakfast included and it kept us full for most of the day. We ate in the buffet restaurant as it was the easiest option with children and it was great.
The resort is huge and we wished we had been able to stay longer.
The value for a 5* resort can’t be beaten.
We were so sad to leave and would love to visit again in the future."
"Personnel très accueillant, affable et serviable. Magnifique Riad. Délicieux petit-déjeuners. Merci à monsieur Rafid, Mohammed et toute l’équipe pour un inoubliable séjour."
