"A lovely very old building. Sadly what made it uncomfortable was that the building sits right on the roadside and our room was over the front door area where the traffic made it difficult to sleep. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. A heater was provided in the room as no plumbed in heating. The shower had no power but I guess this is perhaps the trade off with such an old building. The gentleman who checked us in and looked after us for breakfast was great and friendly. ...

"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

"The description of the property was accurate and was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately, our sleep was disturbed evening (11.30 pm) and morning (6.00 am) by the noise of water in the sinks and showers from adjoining rooms, and on the first morning by housekeeping coming into the room whilst still in bed. (8.00 am)"

"The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."
