"The lady that checked us in was so helpful and friendly. I wish I got her name. The hotel looked brand new and was only a few minutes drive from the airport.
Concerns are was that mattress in the pull out coach felt very thin compared to their pull outs that we have slept on. So that bed was not very comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast was insufficient each time the workers brought out food it would be enough for only a few people and other guests would have to wait. I felt really bad for the breakfast staff as it was not their fault, the kitchen was not equipped to handle the number of guests. I was told they only had one oven. To me is seemed they were just heating up frozen pre packaged eggs from Costco. So the hot food was disappointing for me and they never replenished the cut fruit as they may have run out or just did not have the time as they were working so hard to refill the hot food little by little. Even under all the pressure they must have felt, the breakfast staff were lovely and did their absolute best.
As for the cold food, drinks and coffee they were excellent .We especially enjoyed the coffee machine that made lattes and top tier hot chocolate.
Fitness centre and pool were great.
I also want to share that whenever I passed by hotel staff, I was greeted with a smile and a warm hello. This hotel is about 35 minute drive to Victoria."
