The bed was a little stiff but i slept good and the room suited me and my families needs for the night while our power was out. The room was very clean and the shower was also nice. Very hot water!!! Loved it!!!

Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was limited. Few entrees. Older facility that shows its wear. Linen and towels were clean, but the room needed to be vacuumed.

I arrived to check in at 4:45 pm. There was no one at the front desk. I waited a few minutes. I called the front desk. I ended up calling the front desk 8 times. No one ever answered. I called the 1-800 and spoke to reservations. They tried calling twice. No answer. Finally someone came to the front desk around 5:10 and checked me in. He said he was busy.

The staff was especially very helpful. The room not so pleasing... Needs to be painted. The pictures had been taken off the wall & it was awful looking & quite ugly! Bathroom sink had no plunger-type plug so had to be extra careful so that nothing would fall fown the drain, like the cap to my toothpaste tube. It would have been nice to have a softy rug on both sides of the bed. The drawers in the TV/ microwave/ fridge cabinet were extremely sticky & inside the drawers were dirty.

My guest and I stayed over this past weekend for a wedding nearby. I liked that there was a front staff employee that was accomodating when I asked that my guest and I check in to our room separately as we were arriving at different times. Otherwise we were not fans of our entire experience. I ended up not being able to check in as their lobby closes after 8 pm and there was no staff to be found. I ended up needing to wait for my other guest to come let me in for the night. The hallways smell and there is no insulation between the door and the trim so a lot of light and noise are let into the room. The top sheets had really visible staining on them and our floor was filthy, with a lot of dust and dirt everywhere. I understand that you get what you pay for when you get a cheaper hotel but I was hoping for better as the last times I have used Super 8 I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. Just overall really disappointed as our experience cut into our ability to get some sleep and do what we needed to do while visiting.

Extremely disappointed with the super eight. I had a decent check in and went up to the room and was extremely disappointed from the second We hit the stairwell. The whole place reeked of cigarettes, and ironically, there were no smoking signs all over the place, clearly marked our room had cigarette burns in the chair and on the bed along with somebody else’s hair on the pillows on arrival. Went to the lobby to try to get a new room And was not able to get anywhere after talking To the extremely disrespectful hotel manager Bob Bhavsar. Super eight should probably find a new manager, along with some carpet extremely disappointed with how long it took to get refunded and the quality of hotels that are in Expedia’s repertoire.

Room was dirty, was supposed to be non-smoking but clearly some one had smoked in room because was a cigarette hole in the bedspread.. Manager on duty would not refund me nor change my room. Disgusting!

Don't let the pictures fool you. While the rooms have had some remodeling, a giant picture above the bed, a fashionable bedspread, & vinyl plank flooring don't always make for a remodeled room! This place is still plenty outdated & needs some work. It's really just attention to detail & the envelope left on the tv stand/dresser (with handwriting on it saying 'housekeeping tips') is almost comical. Perhaps housekeeping should pay closer attention to the bubbling, chipped paint falling from above the bathroom mirrors into the light fixture, or the dirty light switch, or the mold/dirt where the tub meets the floor/wall/ceiling in the bathroom, or opened coffee/plasticware packages by the coffee pot, or black duct tape holding down pieces of the plank flooring. When unpacking/packing the car there were people that, I'm guessing, might even be living in the hotel, coming and going. As other reviewers have eluded to the second floor have permanent tenants, I bet these people were them. Also, there were definitely some skunks on the run in the hallways, as the smell was definitely there! There were quite a number of 'air purifier' type machines in the halls & one in the room, at least that's what I assume they were, however, these things need to be cleaned & taken care of, which I bet these are not. There are also multiple giant fans in the halls, again, for mildew smells or the skunks, who knows? I wanted to save $ & stay outside Columbus, but I won't stay here again.
